Here’s what all the premium Genesis GV90 colors look like in person [Video]

The flagship Genesis GV90 comes in 16 premium exterior finishes, each telling a “visual story” behind the design.

What colors does the Genesis GV90 come in?

If you’ve seen the Genesis GV90 in pictures, just wait until you see it in person. The full-size, fully electric SUV is stunning with B-pillarless coach doors, swiveling front seats, a huge center screen that extends to 24.6″, and plenty of other premium goodies.

We got a chance to see it in person when Genesis unveiled the GV90 for the first time in San Francisco about two weeks ago.

While the coach doors stole the show, the color selection was another highlight. Genesis walked us through the color, material, and finish (CMF) process, explaining how each finish tells “a visual story.”

The GV90 offers “unprecedented” personalization for a Genesis model with 16 unique color selections.

Buyers can choose from 13 glossy finishes, such as Seychelles Beige, which blends sun-kissed beaches and waves on sand, depending on the lighting.

My personal favorite, although I would choose any of them, was the Baena Green, which portrays “the serene moment when light penetrates an olive forest.” If you like the GV80’s signature Cardiff Green, you’ll like this one even more.

The Jaipur Rose was another one of my top selections. Other gloss options include: Sonoran Navy, Taupo Gray, Jaipur Rose, Vela Burgundy, Como Blue, Uyuni White, Saville Silver, Makalu Gray, Vik Black, Capri Blue, and Cardiff Green.

Genesis also offers three matte finishes for the GV90: Monashee Silver, Matterhorn White, and Makalu Gray Matte.

While we did get to see the colors on display and learned more about the stories behind them, we didn’t get to see what each looks like on an actual vehicle.

In Korea, Genesis held a recent GV90 test drive event with all the GV90 colors on display. The folks at ShortsCar attended and got a closer look at each of them in person. The video shows what nearly every color looks like from the front and rear.

The GV90 is available in a standard version with traditional doors, and the GV90 Neolun with B-pillarless coach doors.

An exclusive GV90 Neolun First Edition, limited to just 222 models globally, is available in three bespoke color combinations.

These include: two-toned Jaipur Rose / Seychelles Beige exterior paired with a Quince Brown interior, two-toned Vik Black / Baena Green exterior matched with a Veiled Indigo / Puglia Green interior, and two-toned Vik Black / Sonoran Navy exterior blended with a Majestic Purple / Regal Navy interior.
