New York-based Cool Down makes a thermal transfer system that moves naturally cool air from your basement into your living space while sending excess heat back down below to cool homes more efficiently. Great idea, but anyone with a finished basement should already have it included in their HVAC ducting. Simply run the blower fan 24/7 for constant mixing between floors. High quality systems like Mitsubishi ducted systems literally CANNOT turn off the blower fan, because constant mixing of air from different areas of the house is desirable to maintain consistent temps. Modern blower fans use very little electricity and generate very little of their own heat. If you're using some garbage USA brand and any 24v thermostat (including Nest and Ecobee), all bets are off and you have bigger problems. As for radon, you should already have that dealt with regardless. And if you have a proper ERV in place, you are already cycling stale/contaminated air out constantly anyway. Basically any proper HVAC system makes this product superfluous.
