Chevy’s Equinox EV is cheaper to finance than the gas model with up to $8,500 in savings

The Chevy Equinox EV is now available to finance at 0% APR with up to $8,500 in savings. At that rate, it’s even cheaper to finance than the gas-powered model right now.

Chevy Equinox EV is now even cheaper to finance

Chevy claims the electric Equinox is already “the most affordable” in its class with over 315 miles of range, but it just got even cheaper.

Through March 3, Chevy is offering 0% financing for 60 months on 2024 Equinox EV models. This is the lowest rate since the electric SUV hit the market.

Chevy is also offering a $1,000 trade-in cash bonus. Combined with the $7,500 federal tax credit, you can score up to $8,500 in savings plus 0% financing. The cheapest 2024 Equinox EV model starts at $43,295, meaning you can potentially snag one for under $35,000.

Compared to the previous APR rates, the interest-free promo amounts to an over $5,000 price cut on a 7-year $45,000 loan.

The Equinox is also available to lease for just $299 for 24 months. With $3,169 due at signing, the effective rate is $431 per month. Chevy offers the 0% APR promo on its entire 2024 electric car lineup, including the Equinox, Blazer, and Silverado EVs.

Although the electric Chevy Equinox is one of the best EV deals right now, there are a few other options worth considering.

The 2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 is a steal at just $159 for 24 months ($3,999 due upfront), while Honda’s Prologue is even cheaper at $209 for 24 months, but with just $2,699 due at signing.

Tesla’s top-selling Model Y is hard to pass up at $299 for 36 months. With $2,999 due at signing, the effective rate is just $382.
