Porsche added the all-electric Cayenne S to the lineup, designed to fill the gap between the base and Turbo models for those looking for performance at a more affordable price.
Meet the 2026 Porsche Cayenne S Electric
The Cayenne is Porsche’s third fully electric vehicle, following the Taycan and Macan EV. Adding to the entry-level Cayenne Electric and Turbo models currently on sale, Porsche introduced the S variant as a mid-grade option.
Starting at $126,300, the 2026 Cayenne S is $36,700 cheaper than the range-topping Turbo model (starting from $163,000).
While $126K isn’t necessarily an “affordable” price, it offers a balance of performance and efficiency for buyers who don’t want to pay $163K for the Turbo.
The new S variant is equipped with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) powertrain, packing a combined 536 hp (400 kW), or 221 hp (165 kW) more than the standard Cayenne EV. When Launch Control is activated, it can deliver up to 657 hp (490 kW), enabling the big body SUV to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 secs, 1.2 secs slower than the Turbo, but nearly 1 second quicker than the base model.

To distinguish it from the other variants, Porsche gave the new S version a model-specific front and rear end design in Volcano grey Metallic.
The interior features a 14.9″ driver cluster display and a 14.25″ curved OLED infotainment screen. Adding the optional 14.9″ passenger screen provides over 44″ of total screen space.

Like the other variants, the Cayenne S Electric is powered by a 113 kWh battery pack. With 400 kW DC fast charging, it can recharge from 10% to 80% in under 16 minutes.
The new S model is also equipped with a (NACS) DC charge port on the driver-side rear fender and an AC charging port on the opposite rear fender.
