Updated ZEEKR 007 gets 900V system, better ADAS, Q2 release date

The Geely-owned ZEEKR brand is earning a reputation for building fast, stylish, and tech-forward EVs – and its latest 007 model is no exception. The ZEEKR 007 is getting even better in 2026, however, with 900V system architecture and improved ADAS equipment.

Positioned as something between a shooting brake and a tall wagon, the ZEEKR 007 is a premium, upscale SUV known for rapid acceleration, high-end interiors, and high-tech features like OLED screens and an augmented reality heads-up display (AR-HUD) unit that delivers critical navigation, vehicle data, and infotainment uh– information directly to the driver’s line of sight.

For 2026, CarNewsChina is reporting that the 007 will get a raft of new upgrades, including a 900V high-voltage electrical system that promises both faster charging and more peak power for the car’s dual electric motors.

Under the hood, the updated electrical system will support an advanced Nvidia Drive Thor-U chip good for 700 TOPS (up from 508) that will support both “full domain AI” and Geely’s new G-ASD assisted driving system announced last week at the CES in Las Vegas.

More than just another ADAS

G-ASD isn’t just another alphabet-soup driver assist package bolted onto yesterday’s wiring, however. Geely says it’s able to fuse the data it gets from cameras, radar, lidar, navigation, and driver-monitoring sensors in real time for smoother lane changes, better behavior in edge cases, and a platform that can actually improve over time instead of hitting a hard ceiling on day one.

In other words, G-ASD promises to be less about Robotaxi-style hype, and more about, “this might actually work on your commute.”

The entry-level 007 packs a 75 kWh LFP battery good for up to 688 km (~425 miles) on the CLTC cycle. An optional 100 kWh ternary NMC pack is good for up to 870 km (~540 miles). Maximum power output is 475 kW (~640 hp), with 0-60 mph in the 4.0 range and prices between 209-299,900 yuan ($30–43,050 US).

No word yet on whether or not the 007 will make it to the US.
