Starting at under $35,000, America’s most affordable EV with 319 miles of range just got even cheaper. After cutting lease prices this month, the Chevy Equinox EV is now available for under $250 a month.
Chevy Equinox EV lease cut to under $250 a month
The Chevy Equinox EV is already among the top-selling electric vehicles in the US. In July, it set a record for the best sales month for any electric vehicle, excluding Tesla.
Chevy’s electric SUV is now expected to be the third-best-selling EV in the US, trailing only the Tesla Model Y and Model 3 in 2025.
Last month, lease prices for the Chevy Equinox EV were listed at $289 per month. The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV FWD LT is now listed at just $249 per month. The offer is for a 24-month lease with $6,149 due at signing. The only thing that appears different from August’s promotion is that it excludes Black Cloth seat trim.
If the Equinox isn’t your thing, Chevy is offering a $7,500 EV bonus, plus 0% APR financing, on all of its electric vehicles. Cosco members can save an additional $1,250.

The $249 per month lease deal ends on September 2, but Chevy is offering the $7,500 bonus until the end of the month, when the tax credit is set to expire.

For the love of god, please stop posting these monthly payment prices without including the up front payment (which you should NEVER do on a lease, by the way).
The effectively monthly cost is over $500/mo! DOUBLE the price of the headline.

At under $250 a month, the Chevy Equinox EV is hard to pass up, especially with the tax credit set to expire at the end of the month.

Does it beat the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5? The IONIQ 5 is available to lease starting at $179 per month, but the offer is for the Standard Range model with a 245-mile driving range. The extended-range IONIQ 5 SE can still be leased for $199 per month.
Both the Chevy Equinox EV and Hyundai IONIQ 5 are excellent options if you’re looking for an affordable and efficient electric SUV.
