The Porsche Macan EV just got free Electrify America charging for a year

Owners of the new 2025 Porsche Macan Electric, which lands at US dealers this month, will get one year of free 30-minute Electrify America charging sessions.

Electrify America and Porsche Cars North America already have a charging agreement, and now they’ve extended it to the new Macan Electric, which are on a ship and headed for the US literally right now.

The Macan Electric has been officially rated at an EPA range of 308 miles, or 288 miles for the Turbo. Its 800-volt architecture supports a 270-kilowatt (kW) potential charging speed under ideal conditions, and Porsche says that it can charge from 10-80% in 21 minutes.

“The Macan Electric is perfectly complemented by our Hyper-Fast charging network delivering speeds of up to 350 kW,” said Robert Barrosa, president and CEO of Electrify America. “Macan customers will benefit from either the seamless Plug&Charge feature or using the My Porsche app to start charging.”

The 2025 Macan EV features the SAE CCS port, and there aren’t any NACS port changes on the horizon for this model.

Porsche Macan Electric owners will have one year from the date of purchase to use the free 30-minute charging sessions.
