We have seen the Tesla Model 3 black matte prototype and the silver prototype on a few occasions since the unveiling of the vehicle in March, but the red prototype that was at the event hasn’t been seen since… until now and it’s beautiful.
Our publisher Seth is at the Tesla Gigafactory for a media event today and he shot a few quick pictures of the red Tesa Model 3 prototype displayed at the plant.
We get a good view in broad daylight of the new ‘Turbine’ wheels.
We are not sure if we can spot anything new on the design since the pencil of down or if it hasn’t changed since the unveiling – let us know in the comment section below if you can spot any difference.
Here’s what he could send me so far – We will try to update with more picture as soon as possible – we added a bunch of new pictures – some high-resolution if you want to click the gallery and zoom-in:
Tesla is currently working on a $1.2 billion expansion of its Fremont factory for the production of the Model 3, which should start in late 2017 for deliveries soon after. The Model 3 will start at $35,000 with a range of over 215 miles for the base version.
