Tesla will start taking reservations worldwide for the Model 3 in the morning of March 31st and the closer we get to the event, the more it looks like it will be an iPhone launch-like pandemonium. Coincidentally, Apple is also releasing its new iPhone SE on the same day, and a lot like it’s a less expensive version of its flagship phone, Tesla is also launching a less expensive product built on the knowledge it accumulated while developing its luxury sedan and SUV.
People are already pledging to camp out in order to be first in line at a bunch of Tesla retail locations across the US, and some Tesla owners have even arranged to provide assistance to the Tesla store personnel during the day.
It can be difficult to anticipate demand for the Model 3 per regions, but if you are looking to get an early reservation number for the vehicle in store on the first day, you might want to get there early if you are in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Vancouver or Montreal.
We have been looking into interest over time for the search term “Tesla Model 3” via Google Trends, which of course has been spiking since the Model 3 unveiling and reservations have been confirmed for March 31st, but also the interest is particularly high in these cities:

Earlier this week, Tesla released all details on how to reserve a Model 3, including the deposit per country/currency.
