A better look at Will.i.am’s completely modded Tesla Model S [Video]

In our ‘Tesla Model S tuning gone too far?‘ post last week, we featured a strange and heavily modded Tesla Model S which, as reader and Tesla Taxi driver Christian Roy pointed out, is actually Black Eye Peas singer Will.i.Am’s car.

Today we get a better look (though the car doesn’t look better) at the Model S via a new video.

I wasn’t aware of this, but apparently Will.i.Am owns a car tuning/body kit company called I.Am.Auto, which he launched back in 2012.

Even though I am not a fan of I.Am.Auto’s designs, at least it looks like they have some sort of consistency in their modifications, almost like a Stormtrooper theme.

A Youtuber came across their creation based on the Model S and published a video (the video is longer but the timestamp starts with the vehicle footage). He doesn’t actually recognized that it’s a Tesla Model S, but who can blame him really?

I suppose the rim-less design is interesting, but aside from the wheels, I find the whole concept obnoxious. Also, what’s up with the doors? They changed the handle configuration. Are they suicide-doors now?
