This detailed video by YouTuber, ColdfusTion, gives a nice overview of Tesla’s history and recent success.

One inaccuracy to look out for is the use of an early news report about a July, 2013 crash, where a stolen Model S was split in two. To prove the Model S safety record, the video cites a report claiming the crash as fatality-free. In reality, the thief, who was driving over 100 mph and not wearing a seatbelt, died 3 days later, becoming Tesla’s first driver fatality.

Regardless, if you have a quarter hour to spare, I’d recommend a watch. If not, perhaps this video is better suited for you.
