Tesla officially launches in New Zealand, confirms store and service center in Auckland
Last month, Tesla announced that it will expand in New Zealand by the end of the year. At the time, the automaker was scouting for a location for its first store and to hire some employees for test drive events.
Today, the company officially started taking orders for the Model S and X, and sent out a press release confirming their first store and service center in the country.

Tesla expands in New Zealand after seeing ‘overwhelming demand for Model 3’

Following what the company refers to as “overwhelming demand for Model 3 and enthusiasm from owners who have imported their Tesla’s into the country”, Tesla announced today a complete expansion in New Zealand with its vehicle business and its energy products, which are already available through the Tesla authorized installer Vector Energy.
