German startup e.Go Mobile AG founded by renowned engineer and RWTH Aachen University professor Günther Schuh is bringing to market an all-electric city car for just 15,900 euros (~$17,000 USD) before incentive.

They started taking orders with a 1,000 euros deposit for the vehicle this week.
