Kia expanded its electric GT lineup with the EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT, now on sale.

Although the EV2 stole the show at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show in January, Kia offered a sneak peek at its upcoming electric GT models.
Following the EV6 GT, which arrived in 2022 as Kia’s first fully electric GT vehicle and the brand’s most powerful production vehicle ever, Kia added the three-row EV9 GT to the lineup in late 2024.
With the EV3 GT, EV4 GT, and EV5 GT now on sale in Europe, Kia offers an electric GT for nearly everyone, ranging from a low-slung hatchback (or fastback) to compact, midsize, and three-row SUVs.
Kia is opening up the “GT experience to new segments and making electric performance accessible to a broader range of customers, Pablo Martinez Masip, vice president of product, marketing & customer experience at Kia Europe, said.
Like the EV6 GT and EV9 GT, the new electric GT models use a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup with an electronically controlled suspension and more to improve handling, response, and performance.
While the added power is welcome, Kia’s Virtual Gear Shift and Active Sound Design system work together to replicate the sounds and sensations of a traditional internal combustion engine sports car.
Like the other GT EVs, the new models feature exclusive design elements, including Kia’s signature neon-green brake calipers and 20″ alloy wheels.
Inside, you will find GT-exclusive semi-bucket sports seats, a dedicated GT steering wheel, and a unique digital interface.
The EV3 GT (shown above), which Kia calls “a more responsive and emotionally engaging version” of its “all-rounder,” delivers a combined 288 hp (215 kW) and 345 lb-ft (468 Nm) of torque. Kia said the added power enables it to hit 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in 5.7 seconds.
The EV4 GT (below) is available in hot hatch or fastback body styles. Powered by the same dual-motor AWD powertrain, the hatchback can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in 5.6 seconds.
According to Kia, the EV5 GT is “the most versatile expression of Kia GT.” With a combined 301 hp (225 kW) and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque, the electric SUV can hit 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 km/h) in 6.2 seconds.
All of Kia’s new electric GT models are powered by the larger 81.4 kWh battery. The EV5 GT (shown below) offers a WLTP driving range of up to 295 miles (476 km).
The EV4 GT offers a WLTP driving range of up to 333 mi (537 km) for the fastback and 314 mi (505 km for the hatchback. Meanwhile, the EV3 GT has up to 311 mi (501 km) of range on a single charge.
In Germany, the new Kia EV3 GT starts at €53,990 ($62,500), the EV4 GT starts at €57,840 ($67,000), and the €EV5 GT starts at €59,990 ($69,500).
Kia’s other electric GT models, the EV6 GT and EV9 GT, start at €69,990 ($81,000) and €90,490 ($105,000), respectively.
Kia said it will reveal UK prices and specs shortly. However, the EV4 GT Fastback will not be available in the UK.
While Kia (sadly) has no plans to launch the EV4 GT or EV5 GT in the US, the EV3 GT is now available, starting at $45,890 with an EPA-estimated driving range of 280 miles.
