The new BMW iX3 costs nearly $1,000 a month to lease

Starting at $61,500, the 2027 BMW iX3 is cheaper than the Porsche Macan Electric and offers more range with up to 434 miles.

How much does it cost to lease the 2027 BMW iX3?

BMW undercut most of the competition after opening preorders for the new 2027 iX3 50 xDrive last week, starting at $61,500.

At that, the iX3 is more affordable than most of the competition, including the 2026 Genesis Electrified GV70 ($64,380), the Porsche Macan Electric ($80,300), the Audi Q6 e-tron ($63,800), the Rivian R1S ($76,990), and the Mercedes EQS ($89,950).

It’s even less expensive than the gas-powered 2026 X3 M50 xDrive. The lease payment estimator for the new 2027 BMW iX3 is now live, showing a monthly payment estimate of $915.52.

That’s with BMW pre-configured: $2,500 down, 36-month lease with 10,000 annual miles. With $2,500 down, the 2027 iX3 50 xDrive is listed at $1,113.13 for 60 months to finance, with a 4.99% APR.

While that’s still cheaper than the X3, which costs $925.37 per month to lease, the iX3 becomes more expensive than many luxury electric SUVs due to added EV incentives.

For example, the 2026 Genesis Electrified GV70 is available to lease from $890 per month for the same 36-month lease with $2,500 due at signing. Despite being higher priced, the GV70 EV is less per month thanks to a $5,000 retail cash bonus.

With the Tesla Model Y AWD available to lease for $551 per month (with $2,500 down for 36 months), BMW will have to introduce incentives to bring the lease rate down and stay competitive.
