Now, they have debuted the final version of their all-electric Supercar, Genovation GXE, at CES this week.

Maryland-based custom carmaker Genovation set the top speed world record for a road-legal all-electric car, a modified battery-powered Z06 Corvette, reaching the record-breaking speed of 205.6 mph last year.
They have now beaten the record again by a significant margin. The latest version of their all-electric Corvette prototype reached a speed of 209 mph.

Earlier this year, Maryland-based custom carmaker Genovation set the top speed world record for a road-legal all-electric car, a modified battery-powered Z06 Corvette, reaching the record-breaking speed of 205.6 mph.
This week the company unveiled a new version of their concept with the same electric powertrain re-engineered for a C7 Grand Sport Corvette, which they are calling Genovation Extreme Electric (GXE), and they plan to bring it to limited-production.

Maryland-based Genovation already set the top speed world record for a road-legal all-electric car earlier this year when it hit 186.8 mph, but after improving their battery-powered Corvette, the company decided to give it another go.
The modified Corvette, called Genovation GXE, did it again by reaching the record-breaking speed of 205.6 mph at Nasa’s landing strip at the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
