Bastien Theron has been passionate about cars for as long as he can remember. He has assembled two kit cars and built a race car during university, where he also had the privilege of serving as an official driver.
He is an engineer driven by energy efficiency and atmospheric cleanliness. Outside of work, he enjoys nature, hunting, and riding ATVs, motorcycles, and snowmobiles. His other center of interest are movies, sci-fi and fantasy books, heavy metal music, space related stuffs driving any kinf of machinery.
Most notably, he founded a company in 2016 to design and build the first electric ATV. Although operations ceased in mid 2025 due to funding constraints, the experience allows him to continue working in the field of batteries and electric propulsion.
I drove the latest Cadillac Vistiq electric SUV for a week. I added almost a thousand miles on it and put it through Electrek’s new EV review battery of tests. Here are all the results and my thoughts about what turned out to be an enjoyable electric vehicle packed with luxury – but not without limitations.
