Tesla launches ‘Plaid Track Mode’ to push track performance to a whole new level

The software fine-tuned the dynamic controls for better track performance.

In 2020, Tesla released a new version of track mode: Track Mode V2.

It enables everything that the stability control, handling balance and regenerative braking.

With Plaid Track Mode our goals were simple: achieve the quickest lap time for a production electric vehicle at Germany’s Nürburgring, and allow individual adjustability of stability control, handling balance and regenerative braking to give drivers more authority over vehicle control at the racetrack.
