Black Friday deals for Electric car charging stations and EV accessories

We have been looking into the best Black Friday deals for electric car charging stations and EV accessories to facilitate your shopping this week.

ChargePoint Home WiFi Enabled Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger

ChargePoint’s residential charging station normally starts at $650, but it is discounted down to $520 on Amazon for the Black Friday week.

That’s for the one with the 18′ charging cable. You can get a 25′ for an additional $40.

You can also get the charging station wired with a connector for a 240v plug or to be hardwired.

It’s the cheapest we have seen the station, which is compatible with virtually every electric vehicle in the US, and it’s very good value in my opinion.

32 amp is good enough for most people since it will be primarily used for overnight charging and the Wifi capability with the app is very useful to schedule charging when electricity is cheapest and set reminders so you never forget to plug in your vehicle.

It’s also compatible with Amazon Alexa devices, which means that you can simply tell Alexa to start or schedule charging.

JuiceBox Pro 40 Smart Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station with WiFi

eMotorWerks are also discounting their Juicebox charging station for the Black Friday week.

It starts at $550 on Amazon instead of $620.

The advantage over ChargePoint is that it can be configured with a 40 amp capacity, which can be useful if you can install it at that capacity and your onboard vehicle charger is able to take it.

It’s also Wifi enabled and they have a decent app compatible with Amazon Alexa devices.

Siemens Electric Car Chargers

If you are looking from something even cheaper, Siemens is also discounting its charging stations.

Both its 32 amp plug-in and hardwired charging stations are discounted by over $100 for just about $430 on Amazon.

They are amongst the most reliable and most highly rated residential charging stations and they now happen to be the least expensive with this discount, but you don’t get the Wifi-enabled capabilities of the two previously mentioned products.

Electric Car Accessories

Earlier this year, I wrote a post about 10 Must-Have Tesla Model 3 Accessories, but many of those accessories are also useful for any other electric vehicle.

For example, a small portable air compressor is good to have in any car, but it can arguably be even more important in an electric car, especially if you tend to have range anxiety.

To achieve the best efficiency and optimal range, it is important that you maintain the recommended air pressure in your tires.

I recommended the EPAuto 12V DC Portable Air Compressor Pump, which is $42 on Amazon, but it is now only $36.

The same thing goes for tire repair kits. EVs often don’t have a spare tire and while roadside assistance services are likely going to be your best options in most cases, it’s always good to an emergency tire repair kit on hand. The Slime 50107 Smart Spair Emergency Tire Repair Kit is discounted by 38% to just $19 on Amazon right now.

Dash cams are a good investment for most vehicles. For electric vehicle owners, it’s often the most they have ever paid for a new car and it’s worth protecting it when it comes to potential accidents or insurance claims.

There are many discounted dash cams for Amazon Black Friday deals right now, including the Rexing V1 Car Dash Cam, which is one of the highest-rated ones and it is now just $100 on Amazon.
