Mercedes-Benz is about to unveil its first electric vehicle built to be electric from the ground up and it has been teasing it so much over the past few weeks that we have almost seen all of it.
Today, they unveiled aother very revealing EQC electric SUV teaser.
The German automaker has unveiled a concept vehicle for the EQC two years ago, but it is expected to change significantly with the production version.
Last month, we also saw a production prototype with less camouflage.
Last week, Mercedes-Benz announced that the unveiling will happen on September 4th and it started teasing the vehicle with the first image of the front end and the first image of the interior of the EQC production version.
They released yet another teaser today and this one is even more revealing:

We are starting to get a very good look at the electric SUV following all those teasers ahead of the unveiling on Tuesday.
Those teasers are starting to add up and Mercedes-Benz knows it. The German automaker even released a teaser about making its teasers:
But the wait is almost over. We should see the vehicle in full in just a few days.
Based on the concept vehicle, Mercedes-Benz previously said that the EQC is equipped with a 70 kWh battery pack for a range of ‘up to 500 kilometers’ (310 miles). At the time, it was based on the NEDC standard and the real-world range or EPA-rated range would be expected to be significantly less – around 250 miles. The range should be competitive with the several other all-electric luxury SUVs coming to market in the next few years.
As for power, Mercedes says that the EQC is equipped with two electric motors on the front and rear axles for a total power output of up to 300 kW. The automaker claims that it will be able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in under five seconds.
Those specs are likely to be updated next week with the unveiling of the production version.
Even though we are going to see the EQC electric SUV next week, the vehicle is not expected to hit the market until next year.
