First video of Tesla Model 3 production unit with glimpse of the interior

Tesla only released two official pictures of the first Model 3 production unit and we got a few more shots from a Tesla owner who was charging at the Fremont factory Supercharger at the time they took the pictures.

Now, we get a first video of the vehicle – giving us more angles of this historic electric car and even a glimpse of the interior.

It looks like someone else was around and managed to get a video of the car as Tesla employees were positioning it to take the first shot released later by CEO Elon Musk.

We were hoping for a shot of the rear to maybe have a chance to see a badge and know the version and battery size of the Model 3, but unsurprisingly, the video shows that Tesla didn’t put the badge on the car, which is actually Musk’s car as we previously reported.

It looks like it will be something that will only be revealed at the delivery event planned for July 28th.

Nonetheless, the video gives us some great new angles to look at the car:

It also confirms that the vehicle is equipped with a glass roof, which wasn’t exactly clear from the previous images.

We also have a glimpse of the interior – showing what seems to be the same steering wheel and center screen seen on release candidate vehicles:

Also, is Doug Field, Tesla’s senior vice president of engineering, the one driving the vehicle? He looks like him.

Anyway, what else can you gather from the video? Let us know in the comment section below.
