Symphony of robots building Model X – Tesla’s short timelapse of the Model X assembly line [Video]

Tesla released over the weekend a new short video of a timelapse of the Model X assembly line titled: “Symphony of robots building Model X“.

It’s the second video of the Model X’s assembly line that Tesla released in as many weeks. Last week, the automaker released a video of robots installing a Falcon Wing door on the Model X assembly line in Fremont, California.

Some analysts and investors have been worried about the Model X’s slow production ramp up. Seeing is believing and these recent videos might help alleviate some concerns…

Either way, it’s always fun to watch Tesla’s robots, which are often named after comic book superheroes, at work. When the company completed its second assembly line to enable Model X production last year, Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed that the production line was equipped with 542 robots including 15 operating simultaneously at the central assembly point.

Here’s the video:

Video’s descripton:

Model X is the safest, fastest and most capable sport utility vehicle in history. With all-wheel drive and a 90 kWh battery providing 257 miles of range, Model X has ample seating for seven adults and all of their gear. And it’s ludicrously fast, accelerating from zero to 60 miles per hour in as quick as 3.2 seconds. Model X is the SUV uncompromised. Learn more: http://ts.la/e6J
