Copenhagen will get 400 new BMW i3 under the DriveNow car sharing program

BMW announced the expansion of the DriveNow car sharing program with the introduction of 400 new BMW i3’s coming to Copenhagen. BMW will start delivering the i3’s next month.

The BMW i3 has been very successful so far with over 27,000 deliveries to date, but a 400 cars order is still an important step for BMW’s i car program.

A ride-sharing program using electric vehicles, like BMW’s DriveNow, is an excellent way to introduce more people to electric vehicles.

DriveNow is a joint car sharing venture of the BMW and Sixt SE. It currently exists in Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Hamburg, Vienna, London, in the USA in San Francisco and soon in Copenhagen.
